GLEA's Mission Statement

Lakes of Fire, the Great Lakes Regional event is produced by the Great Lakes Experimental Arts (G.L.E.A.) Group.

The legal purpose of G.L.E.A. is:
“The purpose for which the corporation is organized is to receive and administer funds for charitable purposes and for the public welfare.  The corporation’s focus will be raising funds for art projects and performances, which will be administered primarily through grants to artists or performers.”

G.L.E.A. is an official 501(c)3 and is in good standing with the IRS and the State of Michigan.

Lakes of Fire is an official regional Burning Man event and is permitted and supported by local the local fire and policy department.
