Heya — what restrictions might there be on fires/fire spinning? Will there be any kind of effigy burn/giant bonfire and pre-burn fire show & if so who might one talk to about jumping in on that action?
Lakes of Fire will follow the national fire safety guidelines. If you’ve spun fire at Burning Man, you should be familiar with these protocols.
There will be a central effigy on Saturday night, as well as a conclave before the big burn, for fire performances to take place. In a short while, we’ll have contact information for our Fire Safety/Conclave Team ready to go, as well as a lot more details about Fire Safety, Conclave, and all things inferno-related.
My family travels around making and selling our handcrafted goods (old school lye soap, hula hoops & juggle sticks, tie dye clothing, patchwork clothing, glass blown art and pendants, gemstone jewelry, etc…) – - wondering if you all have a “shakedown” available for vendors and where I can get that information.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply. We appreciate it.

We’re sorry. But Lakes of Fire is a no-vending zone that focuses on creating a gift economy. One of our core principles is that there is no vending at Lakes of Fire. Even bartering is discouraged. You and yours are beyond welcome to come out, and give away what you can. You will find that other participants want to give away everything they can too!

Are motor homes welcome at the event?
